ASM

The Annual Scientific Meeting in Anaesthesiology 2026 (ASM 2026) will be held on 31 October – 1 November 2026 at Hopewell Hotel, Hong Kong.

This year’s meeting centres on the theme “Safety” — the unshakable foundation of anaesthesia. We return to this cornerstone to redefine what safety means for a new era. Our programme will explore its full spectrum: advancing patient safety through precision and innovation, designing resilient systems for quality and safety, and championing our own professional well-being.

A Truly Special Edition: ONE CONGRESS IN TWO CITIES

ASM 2026 is proud to join forces with the World Society of Intravenous Anaesthesia (WSIVA) in a unique collaboration. Hong Kong will host Chapter 2 of the 20th World SIVA Congress, following Chapter 1 in Macau. Across a single weekend, world-renowned experts will gather in both cities for academic exchange and inspiration. This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from global leaders on your doorstep.

Pre-Conference Workshop

A dedicated pre-conference workshop on Advanced & Difficult Airway Management will be held on the afternoon of 30 October 2026 (Friday) for airway instructors and colleagues with an interest in difficult airway management.

Rich Scientific Programme & Abstract Submission

The Organising Committee has been working tirelessly to prepare a rich, contemporary programme alongside a series of interactive workshops. Innovative workshops such as ‘Anaesthesia Game’ and ‘Advanced Haemodynamic Monitoring Workshop’ are part of this year’s highlights. ASM 2026 welcomes abstract submissions for Oral Presentations. Concurrent exhibitions will showcase the industry’s latest products and services.
